Can anyone give me a quick n easy answer to the following:

- I am flying to the UK in Oct
- Going with work in business class
- Option 1: Can fly there on EK metal with EK flight no.
or
- Option 2:Can fly there on EK metal with QF flight no.

I am inclined to go with Option 2 as i have a vague recollection that it gest more FF points and it only costs $200 more.

Can anyone advise how many more frequent flyer points it attracts ?

Many thanks

Going on the QF flight number gives you full points and status credits, if you choose the EK number, no SCs and no status bonus points, which vary by membership tier but would be substantial.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Unless as in my case the QF number costs an extra $1000+ for a five hour flight; SCs aren't worth that much.
