HI all

Just wondering if we are expecting to see EK bookings on our bookings page on the QF website? I booked my first flight on EK this morning, my QFF number is in the booking and status is being recognised (3rd row of whY and 50KGs of luggage for me). Just wondering if it should show up in my bookings.

Cheers

S

If you made the booking directly with EK on EK flight numbers, it likely won't show as they use Galileo instead of Amadeus. Bookings made through QF should show though. :)

Thanks - that is unfortunate in the long term - especially in terms of linking bookings which I guess wont be possible.

unfortunately not as both airlines use different reservation systems it is not possibile to see the EK flights in QF MMB unless there is a QF codeshare or QF operated flight in the PNR

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I've got four EK flights coming up over the next couple of weeks (all EK codes, three out of the four on EK metal, one on QF metal). They all (obviously) appear on the EK website but when I go into MMB on QF I can only see three out of four with the missing flight being the first one (on EK metal). Interestingly in the EK MMB I can select seats on all flights apart from the QF operated one.

I thought EK used their own system called Mercator?

Are they on the same PNR?

Amadeus often includes connecting segment information (eg. flight before and after))).

Thus day if flying
SYD-DXB (EK) - LHR (EK) - DXB (QF) - SYD (EK)
you would likely get flights 2,3,4 showing up

I always thought Mercator was a GDS-passthrough, but perhaps not! (I've read somewhere that it was Galileo, but that doesn't mean the source was correct either) :)

Yes - all on the same PNR. The sequence you describe above explains it (I'm on EK, EK, QF, EK and it's the first flight that's missing). Thanks
