Just got offered this at online check in - is this a good value cash upgrade offer for an angled lie flat for 7.5hr flight?
 
I don't suppose it would grant me access to J lounge in SIN if I'm connecting on a Jetstar Asia flight to BKK (Y)?

Ah, reading the fine print it seems I wouldn;t get lounge access departing BNE let alone in SIN. So paying solely for the on board experience.

I've heard of this limiting factor before too. If you didn't have access already it would diminish the value.
