Earned (full) Economy SCs on a red e-deal(?) fare!

I flew SYD-MEL the other day on a $89 fare, which I assume must have been a Red E-Deal. I booked it about 3 months in advance.

Just checked my QFF balance today and noticed it actually credited 20 SC to my account. Has anyone else experienced a similar glitch?

No. The flight was delayed due to the weather (they needed the connecting crew) but it was the same flight number.
