Has anyone had any experience with QF allowing you to travel on an earlier domestic to international connecting flight if you turn up at the airport early and therefore ensure plenty of time for transferring terminals in Sydney?

I have had success in both flying earlier and later (missed flight :oops:), it doesn't hurt to ask but the be prepared for a no if there is no space available

Yes, had a client have exactly this happen on a CBR to SYD segment connecting to LAX just this week. Booked in O Class, Gold FF. Unprompted, was done at the check in agents initiative.

More time in the J Lounge at T1 for her !
