Dubai Connect or Chauffeur Drive??

Have a QF classic award booking in J. Fly in and out of Dubai on EK flight number and metal.

Looking at the booking in QF account its offering Dubai Connect. So i have put my passport details in for a hotel booking. However looking at the booking on EK website there is no mention of being eligible for Dubai Connect however it is offering me the ability to book chauffeur drive cars from dubai airport and then back to Dubai airport. (Can't do this in the QF account)

LAYOVER DETAILS
Arr 5.25am
Dep 2.50pm same day.

Wouldn't mind being able to get out of the airport and stretch the legs in a hotel for a few hours of the day before going back to the lounge..

ANyone else had the same situation with a booking like this??

If it becomes problematic, just remember that regular taxis are very clean and relatively inexpensive in Dubai.

I'm more worried about QF not booking the Hotel? As i'm not fussed about the chauffeur drive. Just thought it was worth pointing out that the two websites are offering me completely different things for the same booking...

So our QF Award booking on EK SIN-DXB-FCO has been changed due to EK schedule/aircraft change. We did have a 3 hour connection coming from F and connecting to J, but now it is 8 hours. We are eligible for Dubai Connect. What I'm confused about is if we are eligible for Chauffeur Drive to and from the hotel? It is showing as available on both our QF and EK booking management pages.

1) Will we be able to use Chauffeur Drive?

2) Will we have access to the F lounge since we are coming OFF an F flight, or only the J lounge as it is our onwards fare class (no status will help on this one)?

The Dubai Connect option I used 2 weeks ago included a transfer, but it wasn't anything super high end, nice sedan with leather seats - if there is a chauffeur option maybe give it a go, might be get one the Mercedes I saw at arrivals,

I was booked at the Le Meridien Dubai which is about 10mins from the airport flying J BUD-DXB-SYD.
