I am going to fall 190 SCs short of getting back my Platinum status by the end of August. As I have some free weekends in July, I was thinking of doing a milage run or three.

Any suggestions as to the cheapest way to rack up the required SCs from Brisbane??

A quick weekend trip in *class to HNL? :)

Good idea. Remember that it's school holidays until mid July although * class hasn't got a reputation for being heavily booked.

A couple of quick trips on JQ etc, for instance

JQ18 Sat 19th July *CLass $289 40SC
JQ35 Sat 19th July * CLass $289 40SC
Then QF RedeDEAL $176 home for 15SC

What's it running to go *class BNE-DRW-SIN ret?

*class is not available on the A320 which service that route. The only *class option ex BNE at present is JQ18 which goes to Sydney then to Osaka, you could do a MR in * class on that for $2800 all in and get 300 SC in one hit by taking a return journey!

A mileage run might help you come close to the renewal mark. Depending on what travel you have planned or booked after your anniversary date, you might consider contacting QFF and seeing what they can do.
