Does this upgrade to Platinum table look correct

I have just hit Gold after 6 months at Silver and am now chasing Platinum.

According to the table below I only need 500SC by 16 Jan 2014 (12months) to upgrade to Platinum.

I thought as I went from Silver to Gold in 6 months I only had 6 months to get another 500SC to Platinum.

The data in the 2nd table looks a bit off to me (Negative status credit balances? How can you lose more SCs than you have? Surely it stops at 0.) But the information above the table looks OK.

For clarity's sake, it should say you need 500 additional SC's by January 16th though. (i.e. you're currently at 500, some of your SC's will expire over the coming months, and you need to increase your SC balance to a total of 1000 SC's no later than January 16th)

That looks correct, when you upgrade your status your review date changes. However, you will need more than 500 SCs as if you look down the chart your old SCs start to expire.

Thats why I posted because the 2nd table looks off to me. The dates all look back to front it says I lose my first 10SC on the 11 Jan 2014

Even If I go into the 2nd page it only goes as far as Oct 2013.

I know when I was chasing Gold I was going to lose about 70 during Feb / Mar but then nothing until June

I guess I will just wait and see if it changes, the whole system still seems to be buggy.

My upgrade to Gold table has been odd since the change to Sabre - up until a few days ago, it wasn't showing at all. It's now back, but either in a totally different format to previously, or it's not correct.

I have 250 SC's and reached Silver on 4/1/2013. SC's were accrued over many flights over the last 12 months. Table currently shows:

1/1/2014 - SC balance based on the last 12 months 250, with 250 SC's required to upgrade to Gold
26/12/2013 - SC balance based on the last 12 months 210, with 40 SC's required to upgrade to Gold

Date is incorrect - should be 4/1/2013! Flight that earnt Silver was on 1/1/2013, however only posted 3/1/13 and status review was 4/1/13! My silver card says valid until 4/1/14!

Previously, it showed a long list with the SC's required increasing as the SC's expired after 12 months.

If the above is now correct, that's great - gives me extra time to earn enough to get Gold! But I think there are still glitches and it will be corrected at some stage.

The Upgrade to next status level tables are all screwed up. I checked 3 accounts of family and all are incorrect by some very large margins - all in the account holders favour. One is saying account only needs 200 points before Dec 2013 to score Plat. It is actually 200 points by next month. One entry says need MINUS 10 points in November to score PLAT. That is nuts.

I wouldn't put too much faith in those figures. Here are mine. That's all, no second page and it's incorrect on just about everything!

What do you think about the windfall the VA crystal ball is predicting for me.......eg the Dec 2013 ones.....545 SC balance to elevate to Platinum......you champion.

(Ever get the feeling VAs seamless transition was only seamless because they forgot the stitching?)
