Is there any plans to add a DJ rep into the NZ lounges around DJ International departures?
It would be good to have someone in the larger Lounges like SYD, that was able to assist passengers in relation to there booking.

That is actually a really good idea ^^^

But given the relative size of that market (how many trans-tasman velocity flyers are there a day, flying VA? Its hard to tell from the Virgin website because flights operated by VA and by NZ both appear the same with a black square next to them. I think there are only 3 VA flights a day) and the fact a DJ rep is never more than a phone call away, I cant see it happening.

Yes but all VA/EY Codeshares flying out of Sydney (Abu-Dhabi, Los Angeles) have access to the Koru Lounge. That would boost the numbers significantly.

May be the case, but VA staff don't checkin VA! Pacific Blue is done by Aerocare, and VAust is done by Toll Dnata. Virgin Australia domestic is done by actual VA staff.

(NZ Lounge Access)
SYD-AKL 6pw
SYD-CHC 2pw
SYD-ZQN 2pw
SYD-DUD 2pw
SYD-LAX 7pw
SYD-AUH 3pw

(Non Lounge Access)
SYD-APW 3pw
SYD-TBU 2pw
SYD-NAN 9pw
SYD-DPS 6pw

DJ/VA still has 22 flights a week that use the NZ SYD Lounge, would be allot more if they let the Pacific Island routes into the lounge. United only has a double daily service into SYD & they have there own rep in the Lounge. It would make it allot easier than currently, e.g NZ Staff don't have access to the DJ Check-in system. Therefore they are unable to make any simple changes such as seat allocation.
