Discount Hertz Car Rentals

Does anyone know how to get cheaper Hertz rentals or have a code they can share to get said cheaper rental?

I normally book through my travel agent, but I need to book one this weekend for monday.. I did not realise how much cheaper they were through my agent than through the standard website..

I generally use vroomvroomvroom.com.au for good deals, even a day out. Saying that, sometimes qantas.com/cars has a good price also. If you play it right, you can use the Qantas booking to trigger the Price Promise on VVV to get an even lower rate.

If you've rented from them previously, then you can fill out the online survey which normally generates a discount coupon for future use. Might be worth a try?
You'll need your previous rental agreement number, branch code (SYD airport is AUSYD50 for example) and visit http://www.hertzsurvey.com/

There is a 20% off weekend rates running currently plus the blackout date has already finished. Be mindful it is still school holidays though!

+1 for vroomvroomvroom. In March I applied a code (for use in NZ) I got via United at the Hertz site and it turned out much cheaper - almost equal to the price at vroomvroomvroom without any code. Next time I will check VVV first.
