The news of those Suites savers has got me thinking and the extra 25k miles from J saver for Oz to Europe looks like excellent value.

I've seen pictures where people are dining together in Suites.

If my strategy works then Mr & Mrs Albtaross710 travel in Suites while the teenagers are in J.

Do you think it's feasible to invite the teenagers for dinner in Suites? (whether we want to or not, is another question!)

I know that in SIN and other lounges each F pax can invite one guest. TPR in SIN is for travelling pax only, no guests.

leave the kids in J and get the middle suites that turn into a double bed :):)

I have taken one on Saver and the other on Standard points with SQ. Go on the site as a single and if there is a choice of Saver and Standard grab the Saver first. Next booking is the Standard points seat as it will still be there.

Remember Singapore really works iwithin a "process box", that is, the process is that if you aren't traveling in F or R (suites), they won't let you in.

If Monsieur et Madame Alby are the only pax in the suites cabin, maybe.....and the food will be J for the guests. Otherwise no.

BTW what's your strategy?

Thanks for the question regarding strategy. The four of us are currently BNE-LHR//CDG-BNE in J. With the availability of R Savers Mr & Mrs Alby have enough miles to switch to R Savers on one of the legs. I currently have a Waitlisted booking for two Savers returning from CDG.

Based on the feedback in this thread not much chance of those two coming through. We wil be happy just to spend the time in J.

Another drawback was my initial call to the call centre to arrange the multiclass booking is that they will not honour a 15% discount for Suites books out of BNE. BNE-SIN is J and then R after that. If we were travelling from SYD/Melb they would give the discount. This is probably one of the vagaries of the call centre agent. I'll have another go during Christmas. We have two months before travelling.

As a fall back position Mr & Mrs Albatross have their 25th wedding anniversary and another trip for just two to Europe later in 2013. I'm happy to wait for then if I can't finesse it on this first trip.
