Has anyone tried crediting SCs to airlines who aren't contracted to the DoFAD whole of government arrangements? I've got someone who is trying to maximise the status they can gain from a big OS trip they have coming up soon which is likely to be mainly on Star Alliance airlines.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Yes, BA, CX and AA all give you points when booked as WOAG, even though QF try to remove them every now and then.

Thanks. I didn't think there would be an issue, but you never know sometimes. I know that QF and other WOAG panel airlines have inhibitors in the booking to prevent the posting points.

The issue is getting booked on the airline you want. That is the hardest bit. I do not have experience with Star Alliance as i have only ever been booked on OW.

I was downgraded on 2 AA flights on one day from F to Y a few years ago. When i requested from QF the original SCs be awarded, they eventually were with miles as well. I received a phone call from QF the next day stating that there had been an error, and that they would be removing the points, as per the normal deal. After an hour on the phone, i convinced the supervisor that if she were to remove my AA points, then she would have to remove all AA points from all public servants. She let me have them :)

This only was an issue because the flight was manually awarded by QF. Does not happen if the flight is auto awarded by AA.

So Lindsay Tanner has only partially succeeded in removing public servants from getting QFF points on work flights?
