I am a low level user of Marriot hotels and received a promotion and thought it might be worthwhile at least registering.

I have a Reward Card, but it appears I haven't registered.

Tried to registered, entered passwords, and received the "green ticks" that it meets the criteria, then I get an error message
"[h=2]Please correct the following and try again.[/h]
  • Password should have a number or acceptable character $ ! # & @ ? % = _

I use 1Password to generate secure passwords, so I made sure that I had the right combinations. Every time I tried I kept getting the same issue.

So I manually created a couple of passwords, taking sure I followed the requirements, and always got the "green ticks" and then get the same error message.

Anyone any ideas - or is this the standards of Marriot IT (last Marriott hotel I stayed in their systems allowed me to enter two other rooms registered to other guests - so this doesn't come as a surprise)
