Good day to you,
currently with Qantas FF But would like to consider branching out to open up being able to redeem Award seats in BUSINESS (2-4 pax) to other destinations, in particular Honolulu is the main aim initially.(we are in Perth)
could anyone please advise the next best FF program which would Possibly allow for this?? I can then research the relevant cCards to go with that FF program etc.

many thanks and happy new year to you all.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I agree that if you want to redeem points to Honolulu, Virgin Australia/Velocity is probably the best option from Australia (due to its partnership with Hawaiian Airlines).

If you're looking for a new credit card, consider one that earns points which can be transferred to multiple different frequent flyer programs as needed. As a minimum, the ability to transfer points to Velocity, KrisFlyer and Asia Miles will make it so much easier to redeem points for flights as you'll have access to seats across three different airline networks (Virgin's partners, Star Alliance and Oneworld).

It is good to diversify your points with another program while still maintaining QF points.

My advice would be to look at Singapore Airlines with their KrisFlyer program, they generally have great business redemption availability with great low Taxes & monthly discounted redemptions.

As I’m based in Perth also & having been to Honolulu in 2018, my question is what you’re looking for?

I’ve learnt that you can go far & beyond although for value, experience & pampering in an idyllic
beach break, simply visit Asia on our doorstep.

Visit Cebu, Boracay, coughet, Langkawi, Krabi & for bits of everything, the Sentosa Island resorts.

Explore your options with Singapore as you can spend 9 hours in Business Class for 36,500 points flying Perth to Hong Kong, Manila with an overnight in Singapore.

In Honolulu ( America in General ), you’ll be charged Resort Fee’s ( ~ $40 US / Night ) & required to Tip, won’t have breakfast included as often, will not receive the hospitality as expected & maybe use to if you have visited Bali.
Waikiki Beach? This is packed, I prefer to visit our Cottesloe Beach!

You maybe looking at the other Hawaiian Islands, I can’t comment on this but if you’re planning on visiting North America, Hawaii I suggest for only a short beach break stopover.

As Mattg mentioned, a flexible points program is my recommendation & this will allow you to accrue Krisflyer miles.

Credit Cards with current Bonus Points to consider would be Westpac Black Altitude, St Georgie Signature Amplify or ANZ Travel Adventures.

The problem of going to Hawaii using Singapore Airlines is you have to fly to San Francisco or Los Angeles to get there.
We decided to fly to the Maldives instead purel on Singapore Air Kris Miles for the two of us.
probably we will do a side trip from Los Angeles to get to Hawaii.
