Connection time domestic to international

QF has changed time of flight, now Tsv 5:55 Bne 7:40; Bne 8:45 Akl 13:45. Next Akl flight departs after 18:00.
I will travel with hlo, receive bp in Tsv. I should know but can’t remember the time of boarding for international flight. Do I have enough time domestic to international Brisbane?
This is status run to get me back to platinum.

The minimum connecting time in your case is 1 hour 15 minutes.

I've done Dom to Int many times at BNE, IMHO you haven't left yourself anywhere near enough time.

If everything runs smoothly it'll be tight, and despite the fact the T-Bus is suppose to run every 10 minutes it's one bus for all Dom Pax (QF / VA / JQ / TT) to international and it get very full in the mornings and I've seen people be told to wait for the next bus 10 minutes later.

Taxi's get annoyed doing the terminal transfers, I once had a Taxi driver tell me no. As I was getting out a supervisor asked whats wrong and I told him the Taxi was then ordered to take me from Dom to Int, if the supervisor wasn't there I had no idea how I was going to make it. (I took the taxi as the T-Bus wasn't going to make it in time and my flight in was late)

Likely 8:00am. It's normally 45 minutes before scheduled departure.

I've not done a Dom-Intl departure in Brisbane. But my gut says QF has not given you sufficient time. Might be worth seeing if you can be routed via SYD or MEL instead (more flights to AKL).

As posted above, my understanding is that your connection is "illegal" (1.15 and you currently have 1.05), so just call Qantas and they will reaccommodate you either leaving TSV the day before or via a different routing.

Darn, this was a sale ticket, any change through no fault of mine, will change price of ticket. Maybe I should just cancel trip & hope for another sale before 31/8 which is my anniversary. I did think of canceling & rebook during current double sc’s offer but $1000 extra then extra fees for change, etc. Plus I only need sc from trip, as I said previously, to regain platinum. Some of you have stated change by QF is ‘illegal’. What do you think if I phone (have a good book handy to read) & ask for later flight to Brisbane to catch the evening flight to Akl & hope no increase in fare (ever an optimist)

If QF made a schedule change (which is my understanding from your first post) and that change caused a previously "legal" (authorised) connection time to now become "illegal", QF has to offer you alternatives at NO cost to you. This is called "involuntary change".

As QF changed your flights they should accommodate a reasonable request to change flights at no cost

Because Qantas has changed the flight time they really should put you on different flights for no extra cost. Do not change the flight yourself - call Qantas and ask them to move you. If you prefer an afternoon flight ask for that. Or consider going via Sydney or Melbourne.

I've done than connection quite a few times in under 1 hour but never under that much pressure. With those revised times the best you could hope for is to arrive at international well after boarding has commenced.

Thank you everyone. I got a great phone agent. He saw the problem right away. Clean Chang Now getting into Bne around 2pm, plenty of time to get to international, about 4 hour wait for flight. Late arrival into Akl, back the next day. Will be platinum for trip October too England, may have chance of upgrade to first.

Good work. Shame about late AKL arrival. But if it's just a status run...
