Just booked a JASA to take advantage of the DSC offer, but now I'm not sure if I'd already hit the "register" link beforehand.

Have just done it again, but is there any way to check if my booked will be subject to double SCs ?

Red Roo posted a link in the other thread that would tell you if you were eligible or ineligible, and send an email to confirm if you were eligible (although didn't actually seem to send the email). The fact you have the email should be enough I'd think? I get like this with EDR offers sometimes.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I got an email straight from Qantas saying I was eligible. What I'm not sure of now is whether I'd hit the "Register" link in it before I booked my JASA...

I've also received the DSC offer and will be booking a flight in the next week to take advantage of it. Looking at the terms and conditions on their website:
"The offer is only valid for the recipient of this email when you register, book and travel on an eligible flight between 12.01 (AEDT) 2 April 2013 and 11.59 (AEST) 30 June 2013. You must register for this offer via the above registration link by 11.59 (AEST) 30 June 2012 to be eligible for this offer."

Sounds like you'll still be eligible for DSC even if you register after booking, given that you have until 30 June 2013 (I think 2012 is a typo) to register and also book/fly by the same deadline. But you may wish to call the Qantas Frequent Flyer Service Centre to confirm...

It's does not make any difference when you register so long as its by the nominated date, new bookings count.

Not Yet! fingers crossed they will happen soon

Just on another note, I booked a MEL-ADL after I received the DSC offer and contemplating changing it to a MEL-SYD-ADL as the time suits better (and extra SC of course) Will the whole booking (MEL-SYD-ADL) still fall under the DSC umbrella or will it not as it is technically not a "new booking"?

Thanks heaps

As the PNR is 'new' I'd expect you could change it to a RTW fare, however, not heard of anyone trying that before. In theory, you should be fine. The issue is when you use a PNR/booking made prior to the umbrella, as they'll simply see that the PNR was old and exclude it.

Thanks samh004, Will change my booking accordingly- not long till WP now!

Ok, just to double-check, this was the chain of events:

1. Received DSC offer email.
2. About a week later, made a booking.
3. About 2 minutes after making the booking, registered using link in DSC email.

Does this mean the booking I made in #2 will get double SCs ? I may have actually registered between 1 & 2 as well, I can't remember.
