There are two restaurants worth considering , both are from memory in the Top 50 restaurants in Asia
I haven't been to the Ministry of Crab but it has an excellent reputation
The other restaurant is Nihonbashi 11 Galle Face Terrace, Colombo 00300.
The Owner is of Japanese/Sri Lankan ethnicity
The food is as good as you would find in Tokyo at a similar upmarket establishment but much cheaper
Four of us dined there and it only cost about $150 including a bottle of wine for our friends
Its very close to the famous Galle Face Hotel
The Yakatori is just fantastic.
