Cider in the MEL J Lounge!

Not sure how new this is, but just after ordering my G&T in the MEL J lounge noticed a Bulmers tap contraption thingy in the corner near the staff door!

Too late for me given the G&T in hand, but noted for my next MEL trip.

Anyone sampled it yet? Is this a response to the Strongbow in The Lounge?

Noticed a Strongbow Draught Machine behind the bar in
the Brisbane QP last Wednesday morning. Haven't been there in the
arvo yet to see it in operation.

Been one in the SYD J lounge for at least 2 weeks.

Happy to read this, although I really do associate cider with summer, not winter. Nevertheless, I'll be happy to have a cider the next time I'm there.

Awesome.

I don't like Strongbow, but I do enjoy Bulmers. I did notice Bulmers (bottled) in the AKL F lounge recently as well.

Agreed. Bullets over strongbow anytime!


Pleased to hear to hear its in most J Lounges. Hopefully the F lounges too

Has been in both the Sydney and the Brisbane Dom J lounge two weeks ago. Love Cider so didn't drink anything else all afternoon. Oups :shock:

Had a pint, or as close as you can get to one in the J Lounge this afternoon. It was Mexican themed food though. A real mix.
