Cheapest/Best Value Business flight Europe->Aus

Hey everyone,
I'm just looking at using everyone expertise on here for a bit of an idea I've had recently.

I've got flights booked Melbourne>Kuala Lumpur>London return with Air Asia,Purely for the price, but have recently been thinking about taking one of the Legs (Either Europe>KL or SYD/CNB/MEL) in Business class.
For comfort (I'm 6'3" and while normally comfy i cannot sleep more tahn an hour or two on flights) and maybe to earn a few status/FF points during a busy year of flights around the country.

I'm not fussy about where in Europe the flight leaves from or whether it goes to KL or to the east coast of Australia.
I've checked out a few sites but without looking through every European city and airline/website I thought it'd be better to ask people with experience.

I should add that my flights are
MEL>KL>London 10/3/11
London>KL 30/3/11
KL>MEL 31/4/11

So if the flight is to KL i'd need to get there in time for the home flight but it the flight is to AUS I'm very flexible

I have and at the moment that is the option I will probably go with for two of the flights if this doesnt work out. At least the flights I need to sleep on.

Just for a followup on this, to upgrade the STN-KUL-MEL flights would cost me a little over $1700AUD.
If I can pay a little more for a better/more comfortable flight, status points and maybe a day or two extra over there I figure I may as well go that way.

Any suggestions would be great, I've got a bit of spare time on my hands ATM so have been checking out lots of carriers and routes but any hints I can look into would be great.
