Cheap Fare SYD-DUB

I managed to book a cheap return flight from SYD-DUB for $1,200 (flying Etihad) return through STA on line.
I have received the confirmation but it has not been ticked as yet. All the cheap fares they were advertising this morning have now gone with minimum fare $2,200. Is there anyway they may not honour the fare I managed to find??

It's flying out in four days time and I have other plans to make off the back of these flights and am slightly concerned. That and having to fly economy again for 24 hours ðŸ

Did the confirmation include the PNR? If so, what does it say when you bring it up on the EY website?

Has your credit card been charged or is there a charge pending?

I would be very surprised if your booking wasn't honoured. The fare is certainly cheap but then it's STA so I assume you were entitled to some kind of discount.

The booking does show up on the EY Website, but as yet it unticketed. I can see the charge has come from the available balance on my credit card, but cannot see the transaction by line as yet. Hopefully it goes through ok, otherwise Monday may be interesting trying to find alternatives.

FWIW - while cheap, this is a genuine EY sale fare price. It's unlikely to be a mistake fare. So, I don't see any reason why this fare shouldn't be honoured.

Looks like a ticket number has now been issued so all good to go. Now just to look forward for the trip

I have an EY 50% off sale to Europe. This price looks right for that sale. It's tempting.

Also, about $350 cheaper (in Y) to fly to DUB vs LHR. For anyone who had London as the destination it would almost be worth spending a day or two in DUB first !
