Changing FF number on Award booking

Hi All

I have Aeroplan 50k status but I am planning to book my flights with velocity points. I was wondering if it is possible after making my award booking with virgin if I can switch the FF no. to my Aeroplan FF no.?

Virgin won’t do it but you can do it with the operating airline.

You can book with your velocity points and you can change the FF Program while booking.
Should be no problems.

I book EY awards via VF points and change my FFP to Etihad Guest.
I did the same with 2x QR awards FFP changed to Privilege Club.

Only if your airline is a VA partner.

Ie VA won’t change it to TK or QF (which I did flying SQ and QR respectively)
