I'm hunting for the world's smallest rolling briefcase for same-day return inter-city travel.

Ideally thinner and smaller than a laptop case.

Just need something for a few manilla folders and some sunglasses.

Right now I take my large rolling Samsonite laptop bag minus the laptop, which is often much bigger than I need.

But the manilla folders sometimes get pretty heavy with a few inches of paper -- hence the wheels.

Any advice?

Much obliged.

Kind regards,

SBD

Don't know your budget or type you are after but the last company I worked for used targus.

They used both the back pack with wheels and the briefcase with wheels
you could use the back pack as a back pack or wheel it as it had a pull out handle.
Briefcase was about the width of the laptop which from memory was 13 inch had a strap as well if you wanted to carry on your shoulder. Heaps on storage and sturdy. Even more storage if you took out the laptop and use that pocket as well.
slightly shorter than a Manila folder but fits a4 paper fine from memory.

Just tried to find it on the targus website but didn't find the one I had. But designs have changed over time anyway and I only spent a minute looking.
