I am just trying to work out if this means regardless of requalification I can access the lounge for 1 month post expiry? Got 25,000 DJ points to use up but I wont be able to use them before my status expires.

Yes, I believe you get one months grace at your previous status level.

Does the grace also apply to luggage allowance?

Sister is Silver and recently booked her return from MEL in the flurry of sales to OOL. Status expires mid September, but flight is late October, system said she'd have free luggage allowance but I wasn't so sure. $12 online versus $40 at airport, no brainier when there's a chance the system is wrong.



