True to form I recently asked Velocity if I could get some new baggage tags after one of my existing ones was broken on a recent SYD-LAX; but instead of new baggage tags I have received three new Velocity membership/Global Wallet cards (all on the same day).

The good news however, is that this card (indeed all three) now features the return of the 'Card expiry date'.

Apologies if this has already been noted and I missed it.

The card expiry date for all cards on the VFF side is a great idea. Now it needs the VA logo on there somewhere.

Agreed. The fact that the card doesn't actually have Virgin Australia on the front doesn't make any sense. You would think VA would want people waving about VA branded card etc for marketing purposes.

I don't know why they don't just call Virgin Australia Frequent Flyer. Much simpler is my book - they 'velocity' part is unneeded.

Oh, I never noticed that. Mine has it too! :)

My brand new non Global Wallet card has no expiry date but does have the VA logo

My last set of baggage tags were self expiring.

Happens frequently with mine, they never seem to last more than a few weeks. They either snap along the length of the tag or crack around the eyelet.

I was looking at my old silver VFF card today while unpacking. The Global Wallet doesn't have the VA logo on it but the pure membership card does.
