I bought some vouchers just before Christmas and I've used four of them to book travel. The first three I used worked as I would have expected and the bookings are now viewable in my account as are any other bookings whether cash, xASA or classic award.

The fourth voucher booking all seemed to work as expected, I received the PDF itinerary, sent it off to Tripit etc. Then later my husband looked at the booking in his account and saw this:

I checked my account and looked at the booking and saw the same thing. I rang Qantas and they said the booking is all fine and not to worry. But I really don't want to turn up for the flight, which is CBR - SYD so we can fly SYD - HKG the same day, and have them turn us away!

I am gold, husband is platinum. Is there any point having him ring them? Should I accept that its all OK and leave it at that? What would you do, experienced and wise AFF QFFers?

You should ring them, the fix for that takes a mere 5 seconds, has every time I've called up about it... that said, I don't think it will affect your booking, but it's annoying ;) not sure how you can select seat/check-in by yourself like that too!

Funnily enough I was also contemplating ringing them just now, because my last voucher that has credit, hasn't been resent to me... and while I don't need to use it today, I don't know when or what the next sale might bring.

Thanks samh004 I'll ring them again. I'm not worried about seat selection, its a Dash 8 both ways, but OLCI will be a problem that I hadn't thought about.

Happened to me last week on a voucher that was re-issued as there was residual value left from the original voucher.

There are some remarks left behind in the information section that need to be removed. I called QFF and they removed the remarks and all was fine.

Yep I've had this too. A short call to fix.

All fixed this time - took just a few seconds. The person I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful and even apologised a couple of times that I'd had to call up to get it fixed.

Thanks everyone!
