Cancelling flight non refundable

So wondering how much of a turnaround time to fly to Hong Kong?
Changed a flight but can't go For the 10 days now and when I went to cancel Qantas advised non refundable
So if I did a 2 day turnaround? Is that feasible to Hong Kong?
Need to check but I also think this was a double status. Just seems a waste to lose both the money and the SC

Strewth in HKG I'd be fairly comfortable with a two hour turnaround.
