Can i check in on Emirates flight from Qantas chekin interstate?

Flying with qantas from SYD to ADL, then from ADL with emirates a few hours later.

Both flights booked separately.

When checking in with qantas will they be able to give us our boarding pass for the emirates flight..or more importantly transfer our luggage through to the emirates flight?

Hoping to avoid having to get luggage in ADL airport.

My wife and daughter are travelling QF BNE-MEL, connecting with EK MEL-DXB-CDG that night. The flight legs (QF and EK) are on different PNRs. Will it be possible to check the bags through to CDG from BNE?

They will be be able to check their bags in at Brisbane airport through to Paris but will need to present both tickets at Brisbane airport when the check in.
