Hi, Has anyone had any experience with this site? buyflightmiles.com I'm a bit concerned about handing over my KF number and email address in case it's a scam but that would be the only way it could be done.

Your concerns are valid.

The easiest way to buy miles is directly through the airline’s website, if they sell them. Many do, for example American, United, Avianca, British Airways, Air Canada and even Qantas.

Buying through a third party has little benefit to you. Either you could buy them directly from the airline, which should in theory be safer for your on line security, or you run the risk the third party is a mileage broker… buying miles from some members and selling then to another for a profit.

The risk with the latter is that airlines can cancel any transfer, leaving you out of pocket. Buying, selling or bartering miles is almost always against the terms and conditions of any frequent flyer program.

Despite any reviews, I would recommend buying only from an official airline website.
