So despite my best intentions (and mucking up when my requalification date was) it's looking like I'll fall a bit short of requalification to gold, sigh. :-| But, my schedule picks up again shortly after that and within a month or two I'll be back to gold again. Couple of questions for the good people out there...

  • Will I get the silver complementary passes again? Will be a couple of times non-business, lounge entry in that downtime in silver would be nice.
  • Related to above, the card says "Valid for one month after review date" - Have a couple of flights in that time, do I still get lounge access (and associated benefits, boarding etc) or will the system say "YOU SHALL NOT PASS, SILVER SCUM!"? Though possibly more politely than that.
  • Related to above, the cutoff for requalification is the review date regardless of the one month thing yeah? I'm guessing having 2 flights a couple of weeks after the date won't help.
  • When I bounce back to gold, do the gold benefits reset? IE if I have claimed the partner membership to Europcar, will that get reset? Or is it once per member lifetime, regardless if you go up or down? I understand staying at gold it doesn't, so not getting my hopes up.

  • Related to above, the cutoff for requalification is the review date regardless of the one month thing yeah? I'm guessing having 2 flights a couple of weeks after the date won't help.Correct - The date on your card/website is your requal date.

Or is it once per member lifetime, regardless if you go up or down? I understand staying at gold it doesn't, so not getting my hopes up. Based on other people experiences -Yes

Ah ok, about what I expected, good to have confirmation, thanks for the response!

Will be interesting to see what happens upon re-attaining gold at least...
