Hey all,
so me and mrs horse are planning on going to fiji next year, I have a flight voucher in the QF system from a previously canceled flight.
my plan was to book my tickets with the voucher and book the mrs's ticket with points/cash.
But if we have separate bookings, could we be seated separately? Should I call QF and get them to do the booking for me, or would it be straightforward to do online?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

A call to QF to link the two PNRs should do the trick. By linking the PNRs, it tells QF that you're traveling together.

Sorry to OP for jumping into this thread, but has anyone successfully used more than one voucher to book a ticket online?

i.e. new fare of approx $1800, two vouchers totalling $1500, plus a credit card payment of $300.

Nope, never been able to figure it out, I ended up just using one voucher and paying the rest. A call to QF may be able to do it for you but I don't think I'd be holding my breath

Yeah, thats what I thought. Then they get to charge a $60 fee for something I can't dop on online. :(

Just my luck they will try to charge me two fees for the two vouchers:mad:

My experience is they will waive the phone booking fee if it is something you can't do online.

I often take the approach of calling up and asking them to run through how to do it online. They then generally say they can do it for me. Question the fee and voilla, it is not applied.

If it genuinely cannot be done online, they will waive the fee without any fuss.

Just recently I booked over the phone with 2 diff vouchers. Not a problem. Didn't get charged anything extra...just had to mail the vouchers in (take a photocopy first) with my details and PNR's given over the phone and within a week they had sent me back another voucher with the small credit amount left on them ($79)
