Does anyone know if its possible for the call centre to book me two flights BNE-LAX, LAX-BOS return on one itinerary? The BNE-BOS (connecting in lax) points on velocity are higher than booking BNE-Lax reward seat, then LAX-Bos Any Seat. I was told not possible.

I'm pretty sure you can't mix award types on the one booking. So both flights would have to be any seat or classic awards, but not one of each.

I tried a similar thing yesterday, mix an award with a cash fare - no luck.

Yup was told not possible at all. Sucks I really wanted to fly premium economy. And the call centre gave me wrong info that Delta could cross ref the two reservations so they were linked (virgins and deltas) but we'd get no benefit from this, would still have to pay for luggage domestically.
