I'm researching a trip to Europe for mid year and Premium Y would be a nice change from my normal Y travel. I realise that SQ don't have PE out of Brisbane so looking at the possibility of via SYD. When doing a schedule search it shows BNE-SYD-SIN options after the direct flights however these don't seem to be bookable. I've found that its easy enough to book a mixed class fare ex BNE but looking at prices it may only be a small amount extra to do PE the whole way.

The extra SC for the indirect option would be a nice bonus too :)

It doesn't seem to be possible, as I looked for a way to do this in the past from MEL. I would happily route via SYD to get PE all the way to say, HKG.

You might have better luck booking codeshares through VA who seem to offer more options for connecting domestic flights as part of an international itinerary.

I didn't look too close, but if you figure it out, let me know! Have you tried giving SQ a call?

Thanks mrsmart

I've tried every online option I can find and no luck. Will probably just go for the direct BNE-SIN in Y but if I find any new options I'll post here.

We've just booked SYD-LHR then ZUR-SYD for Apr/May next year and the difference was only $1620pp for Y+ from Y. When I asked the T/A about this there was only about $300 diff between mixed Y/Y+ BNE-LHR (and return) compared to full Y+ SYD-LHR (return).

T/A has told us that once the return leg dates come online with VA, we should be able to pick up connecting local flights for around $100pp each leg and they can be added to the same itinerary with luggage forwarding straight through.
