I just tried booking reward seats on Qatar flights to Europe using Velocity points for 2 adults and 2 kids. The search doesn't offer me reward seats when entering more then 2 people (they are available for 1 or 2 people). Any ways around it?

Welcome to AFF @alanbruu . Can't help with your particular query, sorry; perhaps there aren't more than 2 seats there?

Perhaps you could call Velocity?

Last year I wanted to book 2 seats on QR for my parents. There was only 1 available to QF so I ended up booking one seat using QF and one using AA.

Likely that there is only 1 or 2 seats available for those flights.

What does JAL's website say? They're usually pretty good for indicating how many QR seats are available in any given class. Mind you, it's rare to see more than four available.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Im looking to redeem 3 seats in J, not fussed departure port, SYD, MEL or BNE (avoiding SYD cause of the old product on the A380) to DOH, and then redeem onwards to get us into Europe somewhere.

Ive played around on Virgin to book 2x seats and availability does come up to DOH. Im planning to book the 3rd seat directly with QATAR, and when i search the exact same flight on their website it does show availability.

My question is - if i redeem the 2x seats on Virgin first, how likely would the 3rd booking for a single seat still be available to redeem with QATAR?

I use BA website to find QR availability and often there is only 2 seats only released for J.
Some more might open up but I wouldn’t count on it.
