Booking engine not showing codeshares on NZ eg AKL - WLG

Cant book flights from Auckland to anywhere in new zealand.

VA8479 for 27/3/13 is not bookable via the website, Google can find it, shows scheduled tomorrow.

Flightmapper has it as scheduled.
Mon-Fri 06:00 AKL D 07:00 WLG
VA 8479 Non-stop Boeing 737-300 (733) 1:00 Effective 2013-02-07 through 2013-03-29
Codeshare flight, operated by Air New Zealand.(NZ 401)

But was offered this one from another booking engine. 4 sectors 17:25hrs.

I don't think you can book a stand alone VA codeshare domestic NZ segment .... only valid if doing a TT flight ....

So plenty of availability. Just a broken booking engine. Phoned Contact Centre, and they said they could book it for me as a standalone.

Actually need it to get back from Mel on 26/3, nothing out of MEL to WLG in the afternoon/evening. So was going via MEL/AKL instead and then AKL WLG @ 6am next day.

But you cant do a multi city trip on the website, and you cant book the AKL WLG sector online either.

Is bookable on AirNZ, but prefer VA flight numbers.

You cannot book a mulit city online ( ie with a stop over)

another thing to look out for ~Saver Lite and selected Saver fare classes (U, M, S, T, Q, V, N, E) are ineligible for Points earn when travelling on domestic connections within New Zealand on Virgin Australia codeshare services operated by Air New Zealand.
