Booking 2 nights at W South Beach

I'm looking to stay 2 nights at the W South Beach from the 21st November 2015.

The current rate is around $632 USD per night inc taxes and charges, which is more than what I want to pay. Any tricks on how to better this rate?

I just opened a SPG account so can buy the 20k points if it makes sense.

Points wont lower the rate enough for you.

AAA rate comes down to US$600

There's some corporate rates I've seen reduce it below US$500 a night.

Yes, there is the option of booking for 15,000 SGP points + $275 USD per night, plus charges and taxes so ultimately end up being close to the best rate.
