Hi I booked classic reward flights on 10/07 for my niece and her partner to come to my daughter's 21st this weekend. Unfortunately, I got partner's last name slightly wrong (Stephens instead of Stevens) and called the premium line the next morning (within 24 hours). I was advised that they would change the spelling and reissue the tickets but it might not happen until the next month (August). Checked on Monday 1 August and in my FF account the name is changed but the tickets have not been reissued yet. Called the premium line to check and they requested the change again. Now more than 48 hours later still no new tickets.
Given recent events I am worried that the slight name difference will cause problems. They are flying in on Saturday 2 hours before the party and home on Sunday. I would hate for them to miss my daughter's 21st. I will call again tomorrow but would also welcome any advice.
