So how do I this? Assuming I'll need to logoff my QFF account, book the flight, punch in my AM details and that's it?

Cheers :D

Well I don't leave myself logged into any of the travel accounts but the home computer remembers the passwords.

Seems like you have a reasonable plan to me. Though CX might want some data related to payment methods.

Happy wandering

I actually had to do this for a few upcoming domestic flights, and guess what? Although the QF site allows for you to add a CX FF number, it won't accept it - it rejects the number telling you that the name and number don't match the FF records.

I ended up calling direct and even then I had to ask if the info I was given was correct: "You can't add a CX number to the booking, because the flight doesn't have a CX number." Uh, yeah I can - have done it numerous times in the past, and you actually offer the ability to add other airline FF numbers when booking. Only problem is your website isn't allowing it to be added.

CS then spoke with someone else, and then agreed I could add my CX number. However, it was then rejected almost instantly. He figured out why and viola, my CX number is now in the bookings.

Red Roo if you're reading this - the website has a huge bug there. ;)

Thanks Archphoto

It will be good if it can be done without picking up the phone. Just need the Club Sectors from QF to keep my MPC alive when I drop to green in July :-|

Did the agent pass on the reason why? If so, the info might help someone else...

Note the highest class I was able to book in Flexi (PER-ADL) was M - that only earns 50% points and 0.5 Club sectors; and I agree totally - if they could fix the bug, it would make it so much smoother. Calling internationally is a PITA for something that *should* work as offered on their website!

Sorry Fred. Didn't think to ask what he had to do - but it can definitely be done, they obviously need to think outside the square slightly.

I had a similar problem last year. The only way I could resolve it was to ask at the bookings desk at the airport, and they were able to fiddle around with it and input my Asia Miles number.

Good luck!

Called AM up and they said it's either miles or club sectors so I'll just focus on miles now :)

it's actually whichever you hit first with your flying pattern both continuously calculate in your Marco Polo Account (which I assume you have already although no one has mentioned yet that you must enroll separately in MPC to earn club miles and sectors...)
