Evening all,

So my wife and I are travelling to the US for our first trip there next April.
We can leave either 14th or 15th April 2012, and our first stop is Orlando for a week.

I'm trying to suss out the best way to get there, and was looking for ideas.

I'm DJ Gold, so would like to stick with them if possible, although its not a definate.

Will be travelling Y and hoping for an op-up (hence why sticking with DJ), was going to be flying J, but now won't because other family may be travelling with us as well so it really doesnt worry me to go in Y

I can really see my main option is BNE-LAX on VAust, then Delta across to MCO... Long day I know.

Thoughts?

Cheers,

Terrence

Edit: Is it also better to book the BNE-LAX-BNE sectors as a return and book the internal US flights seperately?

Hi MadFairlane

A quick check at zuji.com.au shows that V Australia has a code share (operated by Delta) direct from LAX to MCO. Given your Virgin preference this would be the way to go. Return fare quoted BNE-MCO on 15/4/12 return 23/4/12 is about $1650. I do not think you will get much cheaper than that.

It is always best to book the international sector as return. If you are only going to MCO it would be best to book return BNE to MCO. If you are going to other places after MCO you can try a single multi-city booking, or else book the US legs separately.

Enjoy the trip to the USA.
