Wouldn't be surprised if Optus decide to impose some sort of barrier to discourage small payments....

Yes anat0l the account owner (my dad) is a little angry at me - my mobile is attached to the account also - so I need to get it unlocked a great father's day pressie if it works

The macro will not work as it does not allow consecutive 0.01 payments and they have built a delay into it - my IT guy could crack it but got him to do a Telstra and council rates macro instead
 
So I've gotten sick of having to remember to run my Macro everyday and then closing my laptop before it's finished and missing out on heaps of points because of it (4 cards * 50 trans).

I've written a python script to automate it completely for me, I just run it from my server and it runs each day as a cronjob.

I am happy to provide the script, it's pretty ugly code but it does the job. Can load unlimited card numbers and it'll loop through them. It is MUCH faster than the macro addon.

I am NOT willing to provide any support at all for this script beyond private messaging you the link to the pastebin site.

It will NOT detect errors and will just continue looping till it finishes x times (default is 50).

In a nutshell, he's coded a robot that is set to run through 50 transactions automatically according to a predefined schedule on a computer system that very rarely gets shut down.

Oh, and did I mention he knows computer coding? :)

Are you looking at your bank statement or are you looking in ff? Becuase my points from bankwest usually show up on the 5th in FF account.
 
Spoke to BW yesterday about our bonus 10k points. Was told we just need to wait 60 days after completion of promo guidelines bla bla bla.
They did note that a lot of people are hitting them up for their 10k points bonus.

I am. Same error message and also timing out sometimes. Have only managed to get 12 payments through so far this morning.

Yep, have been putting through 50 x $0.01 payments per day for the last three weeks or so and this morning is the first time I've had an issue.
 
For those who are getting statements, how often do they come? Is it quarterly (there is no option to see when I log in)?
Had it for a couple of months now and no option to view statements online...
 
Just had a similar phone call with the same info communicated to me. Repeated virtually everything you said to them and has been escalated to the highest level of that area apparently. Will take several days to get back to me but I won't be resting until I'm allowed to make CC payments again.




Just received a follow up call and the blacklisting has been removed and have paid my bill using credit card. I suspect there will be a similar outcome for others.
 
Two of my 4 Optus accounts stopped working 10 days ago but today all are ok. However I have never managed to get Telstra to work.
 
To everyone who has had their account unblocked are you still going to continue with the $0.01 transactions?
