2nd payment into account today.....will bpay it to citi on Monday. Put in application around 20 April still no card....,complained to teller this morning who will escalate it.

One thing you can do is find out if a card was ordered for your account. In BOB, go to self service -> Pin & Activate card. If there is not a card listed for the Qantas Transaction account, then one hasn't been ordered for your account. You can resolve that by giving them a call.

I don't even want the card. As far as I can see it's only beneficial for transactions of $4 or less - above that and you'll earn more points with other rewards cards.

Yes, true, but I have been surprised just how many small transactions I have made using this card all earning way more than 5 points per dollar and minimal effort required.

FInally got my zero transaction acct converted over to this.

Ineligible for the 10k bonus unfortunately as I am not a new customer, but at least i'll get a few points from time to time.

Thanks for this - card has come up to be managed....I will just wait but I am loosing 5 points per transaction :shock: I don't know how I am going to pay for my small coles/woolies shop

Samboy bbq chips (45g): safeway/woolies often have a special: $1 per item/bag.

You cant help if there us a party with family and friends!

Always do self serve checkout, as you don't know how long you will be for all your individual transactions! (Remember, self serve means your the only one doing the transsction, no ones time wasted other then your own )

What they told you was BS Buzz. The last sentence of clause 3.1 of the PDS confirms this.

3.1 To avoid payment of the Monthly Account Fee described in clause 4.1, each month, you are required to

deposit funds into the account of no less than $2,000 in aggregate. A deposit, for these purposes, does not

include interest earned on any account which you have requested to be deposited to this account or any

amount swept from another account to this account by Bankwest in accordance with the terms of that other

account. The obligation to deposit this amount does not apply until the end of the first full month after the account is opened.

Something to keep in mind re this account so you don't get caught out.

My PAN was emailed to me on 28th April but I still have not received a plastic card or PIN.
I just got off the phone from Bank West and said to the operator that given my card and pin are still up to 9 days away, I assume that I will not have to deposit $2,000 this month.

I was informed that this is incorrect as my account was actually opened in April hence my PAN being emailed. Note that I was never given a BSB and account number, the operator gave it to me today when I asked.

My first impression is that their level of customer service leaves something to be desired.

Totally agree with you froggerADL, hence in part my comment about the level of customer service.

I am going to deposit 2K this month only because it is going to be simpler doing that than ringing up and "discussing" the situation with somebody. It was only today that I received my BSB + A/c number and PAN in the mail.

Have not got my statement yet (still haven't got my card) but this is in my QFF activity statement
