Hi All,
i would appreciate if someone can help me. I am booked on a UL flight from SIN to CMB and the flight departs SIN at 19.50 on 4/11/16. I am looking at booking a flight from PER to SIN on the same day to connect with the UL flight. QF71 would land at 17.45 and Qantas prob won't interline my baggage from PER to CMB.
What are my chances of making the UL flight keeping in mind that I will have to recheck baggage and checkin. TIA.

In SIN you can use transfer counters to issue boarding pass and transfer luggage to onward flight. No need to clear immigration and check-in again.

I wouldn't be concerned with a 2 hour connection.

Is the either the QF or UL flight an award ticket? I believe from discussion on another thread about no more One World interlining on separate tickets that they will make an exception when interlining from a commercial ticket to an award ticket if the journey cannot be booked on the same ticket.

It would be interesting to find out what happens in the reverse direction CMB UL xSIN QF PER as I though I read someone that UL still interline to other carriers on separate tickets. I think in this case it wasn't even a OW airline either.

If that was the case and someone bought a UL ticket CMB UL SIN UL CMB then a separate ticket SIN QF PER QF SIN, when UL do the through checkin on the outbound sectors it may well link you on the return so when checking in at PER they may already see the UL oncarriage flight SIN/CMB.

I have made two seperate commercial ticket bookings. I can see both these bookings on my QF account now.
I will update on how I went with the interlining on both ways. Thanks OZ!

I guess the only question is, whats the worst case scenario? If the Qantas flight is delayed is your UL ticket changeable or are you able to swallow the loss? Normal circumstances, 2 hours no problems.
