AS starting up flights from its hub at SEA to Tokyo and South Korea
SEA to NRT starting in May , and SEA to ICN from October.

Alaska Airlines says it will launch service from Seattle to Tokyo and Seoul next year as part of a plan to boost international flying in the next several years.

I think if you come back in a decade, Alaska will be a dominant player in the widebody market from SEA to International. Huge potential.

It’s clear the long term plan is 737/787.

Hopefully we see Seattle to Oz direct some day.

Actually HA operating the flights - wonder if they'll be bookable through VA or QF, as I couldn't see AS flights in October 2025?
