I know that the T&Cs state that it could take up to 3 months to receive the new card bonus but has anyone actually received this, and if so, how long did the bonus take to post?

Regards,

BD

Less than 7 business day to receive the cards, another 2 weeks approximately for the points to post. Overall, an uneventful process.

Hmmmm.... received cards some time ago. Just paid the first Bill. I wonder if I should contact them or wait for the full 3 months ....

BD

Had the card only for 2 weeks and already got the first statement and transfered the bonus points promptly

I had the standard ANZ FF Card (non-platinum), had card for 2 weeks, received first statement and 20,000 QFF points in that short window. How it should be!

Talk about coincidence: was checking my next booking this morning and noticed that the 40K had posted today - together with the points from the new Bill (2nd Bill on the Account). Saved me phone call.

Thanks for the re[plies, all.

Regards,

BD

I signed up for this last year, only a 35,000 bonus then, and it took three billing cycles to appear. Just when I thought I might need to chase it up, it appeared in my account... twice :)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

For anyone interested in jagging both the 40000 points and the balance transfer promo of 0% p.a. for the first 9 months on balance transfers. Simply wait a week or two after account activation, then call ANZ transfer balance department on 1300 131 026 to discuss your options. Staff will require the biller code and biller reference for processing. The transfer will appear on your statements as a Bpay transfer.

This process is an effective work around which mitigates a clause listed in part 11 of the application T&C’s: "Not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions or in respect of balances transferred from an existing ANZ credit card".

This could be handy to those wanting to book extensive travel or accomodation on credit cards yielding $3/1 point such as Amex QF Ultimate without suffering high interest repayments. You'll need to apply for the transfer before 30 September. Electing to do a balance transfer will not close your account from which you are authorising the transfer.

Overall, quick and efficient with the transfer appearing in less than 30min.

Mine too two months to come through maybe slightly a bit more.

Note statements do not mean months as your first statement may not have been a full 30 days.
