I have read all the threads in answer to my "Keepingall my FF points with Qantas, is it worth it?

not being a regular on FFC, I don't understand all abbreviations.

VA. A, IMO, IFE, OWS etc. i must have misunderstood information regarding theSing air and qf. use of points & miles.

with all my cards tied to qantas and a million + points in the Qantas account, any advice regarding a change of card would be much appreciated. although as ihave stated, we do a lot of Bus. flights domestically. and only fly first(where available) when travelling o'seas.

Also, qantas appear to be the only awards program whose points don't expire, which is my safety net.

Re: any advice is greatly received.

With 1,000,000 QF points I would be putting all future OneWorld flights (QF, BA, CX, AA, MH, etc) to AA; far better value. Or some flights to QF to maintain status, then AA

..Also, qantas appear to be the only awards program whose points don't expire, which is my safety net....
QF points do expire if you do not have an eligable activity in 18 months. This rule is common with many freq flyer programs. With some FFP's you must use the miles/points in xx months. If not they expire.

Yes but it is really easy to maintain QFF points due to ease of earn. Just need to shop at Woolies or pay an Optus bill for example and then your points basically never expire
