Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I did a search and couldn't find it.

My parents are travelling J on QF031 late June, arriving LHR 0635 then departing for EDI at 1135 economy.

From what I can tell, they can use the AA Arrivals Lounge at Terminal 3. Is there a lounge they can use at Terminal 5? I know they would prefer to be at Terminal 5 for their connecting flight, but 5 hours is a long wait without a lounge. Will my 2 QC guest passes be vaild?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think the QC guest passes cut the mustard at LHR due to it being a BA Lounge

According to oneworld rules, they will get lounge access at T5 Heathrow:

Customers flying in Economy class on the domestic or intra-European segment to connect to or from a oneworld longhaul First or Business Class flight can also use the lounge applicable to the class in which they are travelling the longhaul segment.

Ensure they print out the page : oneworld - Lounge Access in case the BA lounge dragons try to refuse them entry.

Also, tell them to keep their QF boarding passes, as they will also be required.

From personal experience both former posts are 100% correct - they definitely will need their J class boarding passes to prove their status. Enjoy the lounges - T5 have much better lounges - T3 arrivals lounge is irrelevant as they would have to retrieve baggage and clear Customs etc in order to access it - which as they are on-going is something they most definitely wouldn't want to do!

I'm also arriving in J on QF into LHR (though not flying onwards the same day), and I cannot see anything that says I have access to the AA arrivals lounge at T3. Quite the opposite in fact.

I'm very happy to be proved wrong. :D

They would have to go through immigration but would not need to collect the baggage; the baggage will be checked through to Edinburgh
