Another Frequent Flyer

Hi everyone,

I just joined up this morning after a recommendation from a good friend of mine. He is a frequent user of your site and has been helping me plan my trip to the US in October / November. He keeps bringing up all this J and Y ticket and kupp flight geek speak which I just don't understand yet but am slowly picking up. My flights are always booked for me, thankfully they are the fully flexible tickets so I get 30 status credits twice a week and something around 2500 points with Qantas. I'm gold at the moment and hopefully when I get back from the states I'll be Platinum. Now that I'm working away again and back in the money I definitely plan on travelling a lot more so hopefully this will be an invaluable resource.

I guess your friend didn't 't mention about the bad parts of this website, like all the time you are likely to waste reading the forum, and all the money you are going to spend flying around.

Not sure, but he does sound like a nice, well rounded guy that likes expensive gifts for blessing him with the knowledge of this forum

Build your points stash in two ways at least...one by flying with work and the second(if appropriate) with a credit card that earns points quickly. If you become totally warped you will be doing mattress runs across foreign nations and switching credit cards purely for the enrolment points.
It becomes the thrill of the chase plus you can do something in style for way less cash than you would have thought......now did that put you off??
