It's an animation of flight paths, using data from the FAA of traffic over the continental US. Fascinating to watch, especially the density over the East Coast. Wonder what a corresponding video for Australia would look like?

Nothing particularly exciting by comparison. You only have to look at the low rate of arrivals and departures from our few well spread out airports to draw the comparison.
