Cant find this issue elsewhere, so opening up to the AFF hive mind.

Looking at an extended trip in Sept - Aust to Tokyo, then to NY and home thru EU. Been able to price most of what we want with SQ, using their 5th freedoms Aust/Sin thru Tokyo to LA, and NY via FRA to Sin coming back.

But that leaves us with a LAX/NYC domestic leg, which cud be a pain. SQ cant offer anything for that sector, so we then thought about booking instead with SQ partner ANA - from Syd or Mel direct to Tokyo, and then direct from Haneda to NY. Their J fares are $4.9 for this route, which is tolerably good.

But just dont try to book a mixed-class fares - Y then J, or J then F - for these 2 flights. There is a chatbot on the website which flicks the mixed-class question to online reservations who say pls phone the Resv number, but that number this arvo gave a wait time of about 150 minutes. An email to ANA Aust has yet to elicit a reply, and so has an online enquiry form.

How do we a) speak to ANA Resv and b) price 2 flts in different classes ?
