AMEX Platinum Charge Benefits - Q&A

I remember reading elsewhere on this forum that there were issues with Amex sending out the Platinum Reserve application, or rather, with members actually receiving them in the mail. I was expecting it on Monday and it still hasn't arrived.

They ended up just converting my Velocity Platinum. Was quite pleased as they've never allowed conversion like that before.

Ask them to email it to you. I did, and that worked.

I paid my AMEX annual fee at the end of January. I noticed that my Accor Platinum membership expiry has now changed to the end of Oct 2016, from March, previously.

With the personal amex plat charge card, I see you can get a plat reserve card also. Do you get a free flight and a free hotel night? Or just one of them?

are you sure? I was under the impression that you can only pick one.
I recall reading something along the lines of 'free hotel night cannot be used in conjunction with free flight' ?
