Air Jamaica circa 1975

While researching something unrelated I found some old magazine ads for Air Jamiaca from February 1975, and thought they would be good for a laugh. Would have loved to have seen their "floor show of fabulous island fashions" during the flight...

Was the food on offer in economy or first? Not bad.

I think there'd be a few new members of the mile high club each flight.

If you are referring to the picture then that is the First class cabin!! And the food on offer is again for First class (that's the giveaway).

The drinks (the rum bamboozla or whatever) was for all classes, except you might not get glasses in Y. Air Jamaica offered until very recently (may still offer I don't know) champagne in all classes - and the fashion show was held (is held) up until quitre recently as well. Like I read about both of them only a couple of years ago (not sure if they have been cut back due to the financial crisis).
